Does your company want to work with us to ensure that children of refugees have fun, make new friends and feel at home in the Netherlands? We are very happy with that! By financially supporting the music projects of Sounds for freedom or becoming a permanent partner, your organization contributes to a better life for many children. Thanks to your support, we can continue to work on new music projects, which will also make it easier for these children to integrate and learn the Dutch language in a playful way. Will you help? Sponsoring
Instead of a donation, your company can also choose to sponsor us. Sounds for freedom will then include the company name and/or logo in our communication channels.
Please note: a company can include this sponsorship under business expenses, but this does not fall under the extra deduction for cultural ANBIs.

Become a Regular Sponsor
Your organization can also become a regular sponsor of Sounds for Freedom. By doing so, you will support our program and all projects in their entirety. Please contact us to discuss how we can set up this sponsorship.
A bonus of a regular donation is that it can be tax-deductible (up to a maximum of €250,000). The condition is that this must be formalized in a donation agreement. In this agreement, we will mutually confirm that your company donates the same amount to Sounds for Freedom at regular intervals, for a minimum of five years.
Become a partner of the online learning environment
An important project is to create an online learning environment for all newcomer and AZC schools in the Netherlands. With this platform we will reach thousands of children every year. The teachers and children have access to our music method with:

Sponsor a song
For €1600, your company sponsors the production of a song, specially made for children of newcomers. This money is needed to compose, arrange, record, and mix the song in a professional music studio.
For example, we are building a collection of suitable songs that we post online, so that refugee children (and their brothers, sisters and friends!) can practice singing the Dutch language from home.
Sponsor a concert
For €800, your organization sponsors a concert with two professional musicians who perform at a school and let the children sing along. We work with musicians who have been refugees themselves and who are therefore role models for the children.
Sponsor a child
Your company can also sponsor one child who participates in our project 'Free as a Songbird'. In this project, refugee children learn the Dutch language through music. With your support, you ensure that a child can participate in this project for a year.
Cultural ANBI means
tax benefit
Did you know that when you donate to us from your company, you can make use of tax benefits? Sounds for freedom is a cultural ANBI. ANBI stands for Public Benefit Institution. According to the Tax and Customs Administration, the Sounds for Freedom Foundation meets the requirements and is therefore an institution with the cultural ANBI status.
Extra tax deduction for donations:
A donation to a cultural ANBI can be claimed as a deduction. As a sole proprietorship, you can multiply the deductible amount by 1.25. A company with employees may multiply this by
1.5.
Tax deduction calculation examples

As a company, you can multiply the deductible amount by 1.5. For a donation of €1,000, €1,500 can be deducted. These donations are subject to a maximum of € 5,000 per year. A maximum of €2,500 extra can therefore be deducted from the corporate income tax amount.

For companies such as private limited companies and public limited companies, the corporate income tax rate applies. At 20% corporation tax, the tax benefit is 30%. With a donation of € 1,000, you only pay € 700. At 25% corporate income tax, the tax benefit is 37.5%. A donation of €1,000 costs only €625.
